What do you think about targeted advertising?

Today I think I hate it.

Look what I found on Mashable. I really like Russian culture, Russian people. I even speak mostly freely Russian. But I do not want to see such kind of ad as you may see in picture below. It happened in Lithuania, 6.10 pm, May 7th, 2009. I wanted to read fresh news of Mashable.

1. I like Russia and Russian people by all means.

2. I do not want to be identified on internet as Russian or as as internet human who might be interested in Russian ads.

3. I do know nothing about my IQ. I am studying a lot of things every day. So, I am not keen in solving such quizes.

4. OK, I forgot to block ads in my browser. But I do not want to block them. I like ads.

5. I was ready to read fresh intelligent information. I got entertaining advertisement.

6. I want just another kind of browsing and searching.
