I can name this service like this: “How can I generate more content, when I do not have possibilities to do it or when I am tired to do it?” Lufthansa comes to help you! At least when you are traveling and can not tweet something by yourself.

Again, it is the question about the amount of content needed to be exposed about you and your business for better status of social networking and for better acceptance for the search engines. The web is organized not in the direction of quality but in the direction of quantity.

Lufthansa sends one message per hour. Try to imagine: you get for example ten almost identical messages from your friend who has a flight for about 10 hours. What is the quality and sense of this kind of message? Lets go forward. It is completely possible to attach sensors to all things in your room: to the bed (when you sit or get up it sends a message), to the table (it sends messages about when and what you are eating / drinking), to the ground (information about your movements in the room) etc. Only when you sit by your computer, you may do UPDATES by yourself. All other time it is done for you by tens of sensors. What is this information about? The most important message could be, that someone became dead on the bed. But will somebody notice this update among millions of tweets like “I moved from kitchen to bathroom.” ?

Well, I would really like this service by Lufthansa in the case it was created to make a fun about the concept of frequently updated content. But in fact it just helps people to “communicate” without making a break. The content which Lufthansa sends in stead of us becomes colourless and unnecessary.

For example, I have only 10 my best friends. Everyone is at home. Each of them has just three sensors in the room sending a short post every half of an hour. How much messages I’ll be recieving in one hour?60. And per day? Or if I have 100 (it’s a very small number for the real social networker) friends?

Our common life (not in electronic space) ir passing by insensibly.

2. Our life on internet is just passing by.

3. What am I talking about? The question is about archiving of online content. Do you save constantly your comments, your tweets, your wall’s posts, your blog’s posts which you write unnumebered times every day? What about uploaded photos, audio and video files?

4. I’m sure you know, that different internet services are suspectable to dissapear one day. Even Twitter, which still is growing and is one of the most popular social networks today, does not allow to find your earlier tweets, especially those, which are behind the curtain of 3000.

5. So what? Will you have something to leave for your children in the future, talking about the history of your family, recalling the moments of growing kids, remembering your habits and hobbies? Everything is stored on the web nowadays. Do you have any video tapes with original video, which you uploaded for the web the passed few years? For example there was a service called “Twittergram” some time ago. Now it’s gone with all links to the files in its server.

6. It is impossible to archive everything you leave on the net. There is a lot of stuff, and this job requires quite much time! The other thing, that not all services are friendly for saving content, unless you order special subsriptions etc. It won’t be easy just to give passwords for your grandchildren for saving photos. Some services are quite large and not flexible for browsing of your own content! Just do not forget this.

7. All these ideas about online content mean simple thing: everything, what you are doing every minute online, is worth just for the moment of the blink. It ruins in speed of geometrical progression with every next day.

8. The process of sharing is more important than content in itself. If you still differentiate which material is really important for you, try to make a copy. The best advice: make a harware copy. If you want to save a text, make a paper copy. If you want to save photos, make a photo copy. If you want to save video, record it to the tape. And so on.

9. Life on the internet just passes by. It does not have memories or as we call “material”. It has only fleeting amounts of content.

Interesting interpretation of the problem discussed in Robert Scoble’s article “Our online lives slowly leak away”.

The point of the new programme is freedom to act with your personal data stored in Google applications. You may became incognito for Google from now on grabbing out all your data recorded in AdWords, Blog, GMail etc. Can we find something interesting behind this nice – from the first glance – twist made by Google?

1. The idea seems very humane. The data becomes liberated and owner is free to do with it whatever he wants.

2. But there is another question, which is incomparably more important than the matter in itself: does liberated data mean, that it still remains personal? Ooops.

3. Is it more important for me to move securily my data among different systems (yes it is!), or to move it really privately? The second half of the question remains as the base, personally for me.

4. The concept of “free” data on internet has to be obligatory for every service we can find on web. But it is insufficient. The data must remain private.

5. But it is impossible to achieve. I do not believe that a message once sent to the address located somewhere in the internet could remain personal. World wide web is too wide to keep secrets. If you really want, whisper your secret to the hole of mountain or of the tree.

These rules are based on limited consumers’ freedom using their computers and cellphones by ISPs, when watching videos, listening to music or participating in other legal services that require bandwidth. There are Google, Youtube and other internet companies on one side and on the other there are internet providers like AT&T or Comcast.

The thing is, that ISPs can freely manipulate with different internet services and limit their accessability for their clients. The services become slower and do not satisfy the users. According to Federal Communications Commission web traffic must be treated equally without blocking or slowing it from selected sources.

Wireless carriers are the main opponents of this regulation, because of wireless technology it is very sensitive for providing large amounts of data. On the other hand ISPs, companies that make Internet-phone services or video-conferencing software will have to invest a lot more in these services to ensure their quality. A hot dispute begins about the government’s right to regulate internet connections market. It seems, that republicans are against FCC’s idea of new net neutrality rules, arguing that it should step aside of fast-changing industry and let it develope itself.

Sure there is another side of the story. The context of nowadays’ net neutrality is widely open for corruption. For example, certain companies of internet services may deal with certain ISPs to ensure better traffic for their data than for the data of other companies. It is funny to hear, that ISPs by their own will block sources, just because of their demand of bandwidth. The reasons must be heavier and related to profit rather that to a spontaneous acting.

But, first of all, we have to wait for the rules, which have to be approved in FFC’s meeting in october. The only sure thing which we will have, it is a new cause for the new interpretation.

Personaly for me, the most significant thing in this story is, that nobody knows for sure what exact speed of traffic must be for different internet services. Does anyone have problems watching Youtube? A little bit slower or a little bit faster? Does it make any sense?

Read the full article of The Wall Street Journal – “U.S. as Traffic Cop in Web Fight”

3. To grab attention of the internet audience you have at first to spend some time here and to feel how different things work.

4. Without a feeling what you can do, everything you create will be condemned to the coincidence. I mean the success will not be ruled by you.

5. When you begin to understand the basics of internet world, you’ll catch, that the most important thing is creativness.

6. “Creative” is the most important aspect of SEO. Why?

7. Because it is huge, it is wide, it is spaceless and timeless.

8. Any idea you can invent youself, you will find it have already been realized somewhere and sometime.

9. So, you have to be really smart to create something attractive and interesting.

10. You have also to be smart enough when offering your idea for the market.
